Common – The trade language of Faerûn, almost every sentient civilized being speaks a smattering of it, and most are fluent

Undercommon – Also known as Deep Speech, is a trade language spoken by the majority of intelligent races native to the Underdark

Serosian – A common shorthand language used as a common trade language by shallow-water races.

Old Common – The old human language, the direct ancestor of Common.
